Marshel Widianto's Good Intentions Result in a New House Surprise for Cesen Ending in a Quarrel, Emphasizing It's Not a Gimmick

Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Marshel Widianto asserts that his quarrel with Yansen Indiani, also known as Cesen from JKT48, is not a gimmick. However, Marshel doesn't deny that eventually the issue became a gimmick because it brought financial benefits.

Marshel explains that the problem with Cesen initially arose from a misunderstanding between them. Marshel wanted to surprise Cesen by buying a new house for them to live in the future.

"It's not a gimmick, but the problem was my lack of transparency about finances, and also because I didn't mention that I was paying for the house installments, which resulted in me frequently coming home late at night," Marshel said when met in the Kapten Tendean area, Mampang, South Jakarta, on Monday (13/11/2023).

"That became an issue and coincidentally aligned with the existing problem, so I ended up using it as a product," Marshel added.

Unfortunately, Marshel's good intention to surprise Cesen ended up in an argument. Cesen got angry and expressed it on his personal Instagram page.

"Because I am a detailed person, I write down everything. While he is like 'you'll find out later' and I am like 'no, this needs to be written down', that's why we often miscommunicate, the surprise often doesn't happen because I am like this and he is like that," Cesen said.

2. New House for the Wife

Marshel was caught lying to Cesen in order to surprise her with a new house after Cesen saw a large amount of money being transferred from Marshel's bank account. Cesen and Marshel consider yesterday's issue as a learning experience.

"The solution is that the more we go forward, the more we learn, like 'oh well, just tell me if you want to give a surprise now'. So I won't be as detailed as yesterday, the important thing is to communicate, even though I don't know what the surprise is, the important thing is the surprise. So now we talk about it more," Cesen concluded.
