Met in Person, Syifa Hadju Forgives and Praises the Parents of the Perpetrator who Threatened Her

Kapanlagi.com - Syifa Hadju recently reported an individual who threatened to kidnap and assault her to the police. This unpleasant incident happened to Syifa on her Instagram social media account.

It didn't take long for the police to successfully track down the identity and address of the perpetrator. After that, the police brought the perpetrator's parents to the South Tangerang Police Resort and arranged a face-to-face meeting with Syifa.

During the meeting, the perpetrator's parents apologized to Syifa for their child's inappropriate actions. They also assured her that such incidents would not happen again in the future.

"Yes, today we met with Mbak Syifa and her family. Sincerely and humbly, we apologize and hopefully this incident will not happen again. This is the first and last incident. And I promise to protect our child from such unlawful acts, and we have discussed that our child has learned their lesson and will not play on social media anymore. Because our child doesn't really understand that," said Sri Suwarni, the perpetrator's mother, when met at the South Tangerang Police Resort on Friday (6/3) afternoon.

Meanwhile, Syifa herself is willing to be magnanimous and forgive the perpetrator and their family. The 19-year-old girl feels much calmer now because the perpetrator has shown good intentions by apologizing and promising not to repeat it again.

"Actually, the essence of this issue is the initial purpose of reporting because I felt threatened, initially because I was afraid that the threats directed at me would actually happen. And after meeting with the father and mother and the accused, maybe it just opened up a new perspective for me," Syifa continued.

2. Syifa Hadju Wants the Perpetrator Not to Be Bullied

Not only forgiving, Syifa also reminds the public not to corner the perpetrator after this incident. The SELEBGRAM film star does not want any more bullying to happen, regardless of who the victim is.

"And I hope that with all the news coverage from the media friends here, it doesn't make the accused get cornered, it will be like a wheel that keeps turning, bullying will continue like that, being bullied, being accused, it will never end. What we actually want to stop is the bullying itself, it doesn't mean that this person is always at fault and should be cornered," she explained.

3. All Just Misunderstanding

Like the stories of soap opera protagonists, even though she has been mistreated, Syifa doesn't hold any grudges against the perpetrator. On the contrary, she praises the perpetrator's parents in that moment.

"With the meeting that happened between me and the accused, and also the father and mother, it doesn't mean that the accused is a bad person, it's not like that. It's all just a misunderstanding and they are extraordinary parents. So we don't need to exaggerate this issue anymore. Because everything is clear now, God willing. This is a lot of learning, not just for me, hopefully for everyone. So there's no need to judge anyone from one side on social media, from my side or from the accused's side, I believe it's all just a misunderstanding," Syifa concluded.
