Missing Mountain Climbing, Lionil Hendrik Can Only See Photos Now

Kapanlagi.com - Lionil Hendrik is one of the artists who enjoys mountain climbing. Until now, this Jakarta-born man has climbed several mountains in Indonesia. Starting from Merapi, Merbabu, Mount Gede, Semeru, and many more. In fact, he has also climbed Mount Kinabalu in Malaysia.

Unfortunately, after the COVID-19 virus outbreak spread to Indonesia, the Islamic KTP soap opera actor had to temporarily stop mountain climbing. The last time, before the outbreak spread to the country, the 33-year-old man had climbed Mount Gede and Merbabu.

"When it comes to mountain climbing, it's Merbabu and Mount Gede," said Lionil Hendrik in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Tuesday (6/5/2020).

During the Covid-19 virus outbreak, Lionil Hendrik had no choice but to stay at home and not go mountain climbing. He admitted that he missed the activity of mountain climbing. However, to alleviate his longing, he looked at photos of his mountain climbing adventures.

"I miss it so much. We can only look at photos and some friends would tag us saying 'don't you miss this?'. But we have to be patient. I'm happy that some of my friends live in national parks and they share amazing photos from there," he said.

2. Addicted

At the beginning of mountain climbing, Lionil Hendrik thought it was easy. It's like drawing a mountain scenery, just walking and reaching the top.

"At first, I was surprised. I thought mountain climbing was like drawing, you draw like this and then you climb up. But it turns out, the journey is tough and it affects your mental state, but after seeing the beauty of God's creation, it becomes addictive," he concluded.
