The atmosphere heated up again in the ongoing trial involving Nikita Mirzani. Held at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (7/8/2025), this trial concerning allegations of extortion and money laundering was marked by significant chaos as the actress, commonly known as Nyai, expressed her anger in front of the panel of judges.

This chaos was not without reason. The moment was triggered by the actions of the Public Prosecutor (JPU), who was deemed to have cut off the testimony of key witness, Doktif. It was the prosecutor's actions that ignited Nikita's emotional outburst, feeling that the trial was unfair and biased.

It all began when the prosecutor posed a specific question to witness Doktif regarding a conversation that was central to this case. The prosecutor requested a direct explanation regarding the meaning of that conversation.

"What does the conversation 'I just saw Mother hit Doctor Reza Gladys' mean?," the prosecutor asked Doktif during the hearing at the South Jakarta District Court on Thursday (7/8/2025).

Receiving that question, Doktif tried to provide an answer with a broader context. However, before he could finish his sentence, the prosecutor immediately interrupted and asked the witness to answer only according to the question, which suddenly made Nikita Mirzani unable to hold back any longer.

"If it's about that, maybe you can ask the defendant, but in my opinion, the owners of skincare should be self-aware, you know, not just..." answered Doktif. "Just let the witness answer my question that I asked..." the prosecutor interrupted.

Seeing the witness being interrupted, Nikita Mirzani's anger exploded. She stood up and shouted loudly, accusing the prosecutor of being unfair and only seeking answers that benefit their side. The courtroom was instantly filled with the shouts of her supporters. "Wait! Your Honor! Let her speak first! Don't cut her off! This is just benefiting the prosecutor!" yelled Nikita.

Not stopping there, this mother of three reiterated loudly that the witness presented should be given the opportunity to speak fully without harmful interruptions. "Let this Doctor speak!" Nikita requested.

The presiding judge tried to calm the increasingly uncontrollable situation. However, Nikita continued to voice her protests and demanded that the public prosecutor remain neutral in the trial. "The public prosecutor must also be neutral! The public prosecutor must be neutral! The public prosecutor must be neutral!" said Nikita.

Seeing that the situation was not becoming conducive, the presiding judge finally issued a stern warning. However, even when the judge tried to calm things down, Nikita continued to protest in a loud tone.

"If this can't be controlled, let's take a break first. Our time is limited, right? We need to take care of everyone's health, isn't that so? Please be quiet everyone. Please be quiet!" requested the Chief Judge of the Trial."That's why the prosecutor wants justice, don't cut it short!" said Nikita. "Please be quiet!" replied the Chief Judge.

Due to the ongoing chaos that was difficult to control, the Chief Judge had no choice but to suspend the trial to ease the tension until the afternoon. "So we will take a break, the trial will resume after 1 PM," concluded the Chief Judge.
