Nikita Mirzani's Side Awaits Reza Gladys's Testimony to Withdraw the Breach of Contract Lawsuit

Nikita's attorney, Fahmi Bachmid, revealed that this decision is the result of serious discussions with his client after seeing the packed court schedule they have to undergo.

"I discussed with Nikita, there is a preliminary ruling. 'What happens after that, bro?' We need to concentrate on examining the witnesses. So we have to focus on one of them," said Fahmi Bachmid when met at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (21/7/2025).

With the withdrawal of the civil lawsuit, Nikita Mirzani's team can now devote all their energy and thoughts to the criminal case. Fahmi emphasized that this step was taken so they could fight more effectively in the criminal arena, which is considered more urgent.

"That's why we take this stance, we hold the civil case, we withdraw, we concentrate fully on the criminal one," said Fahmi Bachmid.

Now, all attention is focused on the trial of the alleged extortion case, which is scheduled to be held next Thursday. Fahmi mentioned that this hearing will be the most decisive moment in this series of cases.

"Thursday's hearing is the most important, because it's the criminal case hearing where the first one that must be presented is the victim according to criminal procedural law. Let's see how the trial goes on Thursday," said Fahmi.

Furthermore, Fahmi also provided a leak regarding who is most likely to be presented by the prosecutor in the courtroom later. In accordance with the applicable criminal procedure law, the reporter and the victim are the first people who will be asked for their statements in front of the panel of judges.

"The first to be called will definitely be the reporter and the victim. We'll see on Thursday at 09:00," concluded Fahmi Bachmid.
