Unpleasant news comes from the top actress in the country, Nirina Zubir. Recently, the online world was stirred by her latest post regarding the unfortunate tragedy that befell her crown, where her hair suffered severe damage after undergoing a failed coloring or bleaching process.

The woman, whose full name is Nirina Raudhatul Jannah Zubir, admitted she was very shocked by the unexpected incident. The wife of guitarist Ernest Fardiyan Syarif shared how she had to cut her hair short and swallow the bitter pill of her failed beauty procedure that harmed her.

"Indeed, in life, we must often, what is it, instill sincerity in every event that occurs," she said when met in the Senayan area, Central Jakarta, on Friday (13/03/2026).

A 45-year-old actress who has been around in the entertainment world since the early 2000s admits that she doesn't have the extra energy to get angry and blame the situation. She chooses to face this difficult disaster with an open heart, even though at first she felt very shocked and confused about what steps to take.

"Because for me, what happened to my hair is a sudden life surprise that came out of nowhere and it's like, 'what should I do?'," she said.

In order to save the remaining hair that is suffering, this mother of two has to sacrifice her rest time amidst her busy schedule. She is now bound to an intensive care routine at the salon to restore the health of her hair, which had been severely damaged by chemicals.

"Not bad, so it feels like I need to go to the salon every two days to get it fixed," she said.

This tragedy turned out to shatter the long-held dreams of the former MTV VJ. In fact, after being comfortable with shoulder-length hair for 6 to 7 years, she actually intended to grow her hair long again in the near future, but fate forced her to go back to short hair.

"Maybe the universe or yes, maybe the universe is telling me, just keep your hair short for now, Nirina," she concluded.

Fortunately, this unfortunate incident actually showed how warm the support from her small family is. Her husband and two children continuously provided moral support, making her heart calm again in facing this tragedy of her appearance without feeling a loss of confidence.
