Minola Sebayang, the legal representative of Tengku Dewi Putri, confirmed that there is no mediation outside the trial between his client and Andrew Andika. Minola revealed this after the hearing at the Religious Court (PA) Cibinong, Thursday (20/6/2024).
"There has been no mediation outside the trial until today, no mediation. Tengku Dewi is firm (about the divorce)," said Minola.
Minola explained that there are many factors that make Tengku Dewi want to divorce Andrew Andika. The main reason is that Andrew Andika has been having an affair with another woman.
"The reason is many, because it has happened repeatedly. Even we ourselves know that in the midst of the ongoing lawsuit, it is not improving the condition and situation," said Minola.
Minola said that Andrew Andika should have fixed his household with Tengku Dewi after being caught cheating with another woman.
"Improving the condition and situation means treating Tengku Dewi well, but instead, there was another incident that made Andrew caught again, not for the first time," said Minola.
"It's known that there was viral chatting, which means he didn't improve his behavior and attitude. Filing for divorce while his wife is pregnant," added Minola.
Because she has repeatedly cheated, Tengku Dewi finally filed for divorce in the Religious Court (PA) Cibinong.
"Instead of fixing the relationship, the situation has made Teungku Dewi even more convinced that it cannot change. Finally, she is determined that her lawsuit must be processed and there must be a decision," she said.
The divorce hearing of Tengku Dewi and Andrew Andika has just been held at the PA Cibinong with a mediation agenda. However, the mediation hearing was postponed because both parties did not attend the trial.
