Sigit Bayu Kuncoro, Purwaniatun's eldest son, admitted that his mother was an inspiration to all four of her children. The woman who was familiarly called Mbak Pur always motivated and asked them to do good.

"She is our inspiration, very inspiring for her children, always motivating, always telling us to do good to others," said Sigit Bayu Kuncoro, Purwaniatun's eldest son, when met at the funeral home in Pondok Kelapa, East Jakarta, on Monday (23/3).

The eldest son of Purwaniatun revealed that his mother did not leave a last message. However, this woman, born in 1952, left good advice that will always be remembered by her family, such as advice to help each other.

"Actually, even if there is no last message, because every day the deceased always gives good advice to the family, that is her last message. We must help each other as siblings, whatever the problem, it must be discussed nicely. That's it. That's how her days were," reminisced Sigit Bayu Kuncoro.

2. Last Appearance

Before being diagnosed with cancer and agreeing to undergo surgery, Purwaniatun's last appearance in front of the public was as a guest star on the Brownis show aired on TRANS TV. At that time, Purwaniatun was still in good condition and her uterine cancer was not too severe.

"One hundred percent fit, and the cancer in her uterus was not too severe, still under control. Why was she ready for surgery? Because everything was ready (her condition at that time) and she herself wanted it (to be operated on). All her conditions were ready, her lungs, her heart, her kidneys, and her blood, everything was ready and we were okay at that time," said Sigit Bayu Kuncoro.
