Jihan Fahira follows in the footsteps of Primus Yustisio to become a politician. However, she chose to advance through the Regional Representative Council (DPD), not from a political party like her husband.
In this year's DPD member election contest, Jihan received a large number of votes and successfully elected as a member of the DPD RI. She also attended the inauguration ceremony for members of the DPR and DPD RI at the DPR RI Building, Senayan, and will be office-mates with her husband.
Jihan Fahira has now ventured into the world of politics like her husband, Primus Yustisio. However, unlike her husband who entered the Senayan through a political party, Jihan chose to become a member of the Regional Representative Council (DPD).
Jihan was elected in the legislative election some time ago. She was elected from the West Java region along with Komeng.
In the recent legislative contest, Jihan successfully garnered 1,823,907 votes. She came in second place after Komeng, who received 5,399,699 votes.
Jihan is also happy to have been elected as a member of the DPD. For the past few days, Jihan has been participating in a series of events before the inauguration is held.
Jihan is now working in the same office as Komeng and several other elected DPD members. She has long left the acting world and is now taking on her new role as a politician.
Jihan's move to Senayan brings her back to the same profession as her husband, Primus Yustisio. This year, Primus was also inaugurated as a member of the DPR RI for the 2024-2029 period.
Once meeting Primus when they were both artists, now Jihan is back in the same profession as her husband as a politician. Although in different rooms, Jihan and Primus are in the same building, DPR RI.
