Too Excited, Verrell Bramasta Admits He Couldn't Sleep Before Being Sworn in as a Council Member

The 28-year-old actor expressed that he felt an extraordinary moment when taking the oath at the DPR building.

"It definitely feels extraordinary, I am really grateful because when we were inside taking the oath, it was really spine-tingling, I didn't expect time to pass so quickly," said Verrell when met in the Kemang area, South Jakarta, Tuesday (1/10/2024).

Verrell revealed that this moment is very special because 10 years ago, he was in the same building to accompany his mother, Venna Melinda, when she was sworn in as a member of the DPR.

"Ten years ago I was in that building accompanying my mom Venna during her inauguration, and it turns out fast forward 10 years later I didn't expect that I would be the one inaugurated and instead, my parents are the ones accompanying me," he explained.

However, there is an interesting story behind his preparations before coming for the inauguration. That night, Verrell admitted he had difficulty sleeping because he was too excited for this important day.

"I was feeling unwell because I was too excited last night, I was in bed from 9 PM and could only sleep at 2 AM because I was really very excited for today. But thank God everything is done, went smoothly, now I focus on working," he revealed.

4. Prepare the Suit from a Month Ago

For the outfit, Verrell wore a suit that had been prepared a month in advance. In addition, Verrell also prepared outfits for his family members who attended, each with their own theme, from Venna Melinda's family to Ivan Fadilla's family.
