Open TEMAN TAPI MENIKAH 2, Something Rako Prijanto Doesn't Like About Mawar de Jongh

TEMAN TAPI MENIKAH is a film adaptation of the true story of Ayudia Bing Slamet and Muhammad Pradana Budiarto aka Ditto Percussion, a pair of friends who decide to get married. Prior to the release of the movie TEMAN TAPI MENIKAH 2, Ayudia Bing Slamet shared a Q&A video with Ayu, Ditto, Dodot, Mawar, and Rako Prijanto on her personal Instagram account.

 

1. Director's Confession

Rako Prijanto as the director of TEMAN TAPI MENIKAH 2 admitted that he had difficulty directing Mawar at the beginning of filming. Rako compared Mawar to a diesel engine that needs a process to heat up and perform optimally.

During the Q&A session, Rako admitted that there was one thing he didn't like about Mawar's acting. Mawar likes to move her eyebrows, which makes her facial expressions exaggerated for the character she plays. After Rako directed her to minimize the movement of her eyebrows, Mawar's acting became very emotional and she could even display a gaze full of love.

2. Mawar as Ayu

When asked about acting, Ayu feels that Mawar is totally amazing in playing her role. Ayu wonders why Mawar remained silent at the beginning of their meeting and admitted that she saw herself in Mawar. Ayu revealed that she doesn't talk much when meeting new people.

In the video, Ayu also said that the movie TEMAN TAPI MENIKAH 2 is a must-watch because this sequel offers something different.
