Wow! Filming 'MALIK & ELSA' Movie, Salshabilla Adriani's Weight Increases up to Nine Kilograms

Kapanlagi.com - Young star Salshabilla Adriani was chosen as the main actress in the movie MALIK & ELSA. She was paired with her childhood friend, Endy Arfian.

The shooting process of this romance drama adaptation of the novel by Boy Candra was entirely done in the city of Padang. Because Padang is famous for its delicious food that contains coconut milk, oil, and sugar, it's no wonder that Salshabilla kept eating until she didn't realize her weight had increased.

"During the filming in Padang, I ate a lot. I went crazy. The food there contains coconut milk and sugar, not to mention I could have coffee five times a day. When I got back home, I was curious and checked my weight... Allahuakbar, how did it get to this point?" Salshabilla recalled during the trailer and official poster launch of MALIK & ELSA at the Falcon Pictures office in Duren Tiga, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (26/2/2020).

1. Can't Diet

Salshabilla Adriani was indeed shocked by her weight gain of nine kilograms. However, she is a woman who is indifferent and not too strict in maintaining her body.

"I never go on a diet because I can't. So I always feel confident with my weight after growing up. My weight is always stable and when people say Salsha is fat, I always underestimate it. Because usually it increases, then decreases," she explained.

2. 70 Skewers of Satay!

Just like Salshabilla Adriani, Endy Arfian's weight also increased. However, Endy's weight didn't increase drastically, only two to three kilos.

"I gained about two to three kilos. Because my eating habits follow her (Salsha). When we were in Padang, we always had a complete package, if she eats, I eat too," Endy explained.

Salshabilla added, "I never eat alone. There's even our favorite satay near the hotel we stayed in, we can eat up to 60-70 skewers. Cool, right?" she added with a laugh.
