Falcon Pictures Fines Jefri Nichol for Rp 4.2 Billion, Here's the Breakdown

Kapanlagi.com - Falcon Pictures production house is suing Jefri Nichol for breach of contract. The young actor was supposed to be contracted to play in four films, but he failed to fulfill his obligations. Instead, Jefri acted in a film with another party.

Due to this improper behavior, Falcon Pictures is requesting the return of the advance payment that has been made. They are also demanding payment of the fine with the following breakdown:

"According to the lawsuit, the defendant has been called several times to fulfill his obligations but never showed up. Then, they were asked to return the advance payment amounting to 280 million. In addition, interest, fines, and all are mentioned as 4.2 billion. Besides, there is also an immaterial loss of two billion," explained Achmad Guntur, the Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, when interviewed on Wednesday (26/2/2020).

1. First Session Agenda

The first session of the civil case between Falcon Pictures and Jefri Nichol will be held soon. Whether guilty or not, it can be witnessed in the trial later.

"The trial has been scheduled, the first agenda is on March 16. This is based on the lawsuit, whether it is proven or not, it will be discussed in the trial," added Achmad Guntur.

2. Mandatory Attendance

In the upcoming first session, the plaintiff, Falcon Pictures, and the defendants, Jefri Nichol, Junita Eka Putri, and Ahmad Baidhowi, are required to attend. If not, both parties are said to suffer losses.

"In civil cases, if you don't attend, you will suffer losses. If you don't attend, it means you don't respond. But usually, you should attend," Achmad Guntur emphasized.
