Chandra Liow Calls the Cast of the Movie Bucin Wearing Custom Limited Edition Denim that Represents Their Level of Obsession

Kapanlagi.com - The poster and trailer for the movie Bucin, which marks Chandra Liow's directorial debut, have finally been released. The movie is scheduled to be released simultaneously in all theaters nationwide on March 26, 2020.

During the event held at CGV FX Sudirman, Central Jakarta, on Tuesday afternoon (2/25), there was something unique about the actors who played in the movie. The cast members were seen wearing unusual custom denim.

"So today I'm promoting the movie Bucin, and it's special because we designed the Bucin denim jackets worn by the cast. But mine is a special edition, not Bucin. The term Bucin has a broader meaning for me, Andovi, Susan, and Tommy because we all have our own personalities in our denim," said Chandra Liow.

Like Andovi da Lopez with a picture of broccoli on the left chest to indicate that he is a vegan. Then Tommy Limmm with a picture of the character Olav indicating his obsession because his wife likes that character, and there is Susan Sameh who wears a denim design of the Indonesian and Egyptian flags with the word 'bucin' (obsessed) on the back.

'I'm more of not obsessed, while Tommy has a picture of Olav because his wife really likes Olav, Andovi because he is a vegan and likes batik has a picture of broccoli and batik. Why did we choose denim? Because it's very millennial,' said Chandra Liow.

'I also wear this (denim), the color is actually black but I combine it with pink so it has a feminine side,' said Susan Sameh.

'On my left and right arms, there are the flags of Egypt and Indonesia indicating my heritage, because my father is Egyptian and my mother is Indonesian. On the back, there is the word 'bucin' and my signature,' she concluded.
