Pinkan Mambo Aims for the Stage of American's Got Talent, Targeting Billion Rupiah Salary

Pinkan Mambo has once again made a surprising statement regarding her future career in the entertainment industry. The singer who was once a duet partner of Maia Estianty openly stated that she no longer has any passion for a career in Indonesia. Pinkan is now setting high targets to break into the international market and become a world-class diva.

This ambition arose because Pinkan feels she has reached a stagnant level as a musician in her home country. She longs for fantastic fees equivalent to international singers like Beyonce. With full confidence, Pinkan targets to earn billions of rupiah for a single performance on the global stage next year.

"Yes, because I have become a diva. I want my salary to be in dollars. So for one performance, I want 2 billion. Amen. And that's all... if in Indonesia it's 50 million. If Beyonce gets 2 billion. So I'm not performing in Indonesia anymore," said Pinkan Mambo when met in the Sepatan area, South Tangerang, recently.

Pinkan revealed that she already has a solid plan to participate in the prestigious talent show, American's Got Talent (AGT). She admitted that she had previously received a call from the show and intends to try her luck again. For her, the international stage is a more suitable place for her talent and abilities at this time.

"American! American! Not Indonesian, wrong hearing. American straight away. I actually participated a few years ago and I was called. And I want to repeat the order again. I want to enter again. I also want to join contests around the world. Like American's Got Talent, or in London, or whatever," she explained with a very confident tone.

Pinkan's high self-confidence often invites both support and criticism among netizens. However, she doesn't care and feels she must be at the peak of her profession before she passes away. Pinkan wants to prove that the talent she possesses can be valued much higher abroad compared to the domestic market.

"Before I die, I have to be on the top in my profession. Do you understand? So I'm not playing in Indonesia anymore. I will still tour in Indonesia but it's kind of... I just want to play, you know. But it's not my passion anymore," asserted the singer whose real name is Pinkan Ratnasari Mambo.

Although she is currently still active doing TikTok live streams on the side of the road, Pinkan sees this as merely a form of challenge. She feels that people appreciate her hard work more when she engages in unique actions on the streets. She uses this as a stepping stone to build a strong brand before stepping into America.

"It’s just that the more extreme we are, the more we challenge ourselves like... 'Aren't you embarrassed dancing there?'. The more people appreciate it and give us money. Just think of me as a traveling dangdut singer who brings a cart like that," she said, comparing her actions to those of folk artists.

Pinkan also has big plans to hold a grand virtual concert in a large hall. She wants her performance to still look spectacular with advanced stage effects without having to feel pain from performing on the asphalt. This is done to ensure that the quality of her performance remains at an international level.

With the support of her husband, Arya Khan, Pinkan is confident that her dream of earning a salary in dollars and becoming an international diva is not just a pipe dream. We will just have to wait and see if Pinkan will truly make a splash on the American's Got Talent stage next year.
