Police Say Urine Test Results of Epy Kusnandar and YG Positive for Marijuana

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Epy Kusnandar and his colleague with the initial YG were arrested by the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit for drug abuse. Epy and YG were arrested at Kalibata Apartment, South Jakarta, on Thursday (9/5) night. From the arrest of Epy and YG, the police found evidence of marijuana.

"We, the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit, have arrested two individuals, EK and YG. From these two individuals, we found evidence of marijuana narcotics," said AKBP Indrawienny Panjiyoga, the Head of the West Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit, at the West Jakarta Police Station on Friday (10/5).

"Both of them tested positive for marijuana in the initial urine test we conducted," he added.

1. Secured in Conscious Condition

Indrawienny revealed that the arrest took place around Epy Kusnandar's canteen near Kalibata apartments, South Jakarta.

"We conducted an investigation and found the two individuals. The arrest was made around Kalibata apartments, in a shop owned by EK's brother," explained Indrawienny.

Indrawienny explained that both individuals were conscious when apprehended. Currently, the police have detained and are still conducting an examination of Epy and YG. "Both of them are conscious, we still have to conduct an examination," he said.

2. Examination Process Still Ongoing

Indrawienny has not yet explained in detail about the arrest of Epy and YG. This includes the reason why they used marijuana narcotics.

"We still need further investigation for their status, modus operandi, motive, and reasons for use," concluded Indrawienny.
