Artist Rio Reifan Arrested for the 5th Time, Police Seize Drugs of the Type Sabu and Ecstasy

Kapanlagi.com - A shocking news once again comes from artist Rio Reifan who has been arrested for the 5th time due to drug abuse. This was confirmed directly by the West Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes M Syahduddi, on Sunday (28/4) yesterday.

"Yes, (Rio Reifan was arrested)," said Syahduddi when contacted through text message, confirming the arrest of artist Rio Reifan related to drug abuse.

Syahduddi revealed that this 39-year-old artist was arrested after the police seized several types of drugs, including sabu and ecstasy. "There is sabu, ecstasy, and hard drugs," said Syahduddi.

1. Still in the Process of Deepening

In a separate occasion, the Head of Public Relations of the Jakarta Metro Police, Commissioner Pol Ade Ary Syam, stated that for the time being, they are still conducting an in-depth investigation and development of the arrest of Rio Reifan.

"We have checked with the Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit of the West Jakarta Metro Police, it is true that Mr. RR has been arrested for alleged drug abuse. We ask for time as the examination and investigation are being conducted," said Ade Ary in Sentul, Bogor, West Java, on Sunday (28/4).

2. Already Arrested 5 Times

As is known, this is not the first time Rio Reifan has been arrested by the police for drug cases. He has been involved in such cases five times. The first time he had trouble with the police due to drugs was in 2015. After serving his sentence, Rio Reifan was arrested again in 2017.

Then in 2019, he was once again arrested by the police for the same case. It didn't stop there, Rio Reifan was once again arrested by the police for drug-related offenses in 2021. And finally, he was arrested again for the same case in 2024.
