Celebrity influencer Chandrika Chika along with five of her friends were reportedly apprehended by authorities for drug abuse. They were arrested at a hotel in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta on Monday, April 22, 2024, around 23:00 local time.

After conducting an investigation, the police discovered a fact regarding the drug case involving Chandrika Chika and her five friends.
"We have examined Ms. CK, who has recognized narcotics for over a year," said AKP Rezka Anugras.
In addition, after the examination, Chandrika Chika was declared positive for consuming marijuana.
As for the other five individuals who were arrested, namely AT (24) female, MJ (22) female, AMO (22) male, BB (25) male, and e-sports athlete with the initials AJ (27), they also tested positive for drug use.
"Those who tested positive for marijuana or THC are identified as AT, MJ, CK, AMO. Those who tested positive for methamphetamine are identified as AJ and BB," he said.
Currently, all six of them have been designated as suspects. They are charged under Article 127 of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics with a punishment of 4 years imprisonment.
The police have also secured evidence in the form of one unit of pods or electronic cigarettes containing liquid filled with marijuana, which were used alternately.
Chandrika Chika and her five friends are also threatened with a 4-year prison sentence under Article 127 of Law Number 35 Year 2009 concerning Narcotics.
Chandrika Chika has been officially declared a suspect in a drug abuse case.
