Eman and 4 Friends appeared unable to hold back tears as they bid farewell to their friend Nurul Qomar at his final resting place. Eman's sorrow was evident as the body was lowered into the ground; the 62-year-old man was even held by the man next to him.

The man whose real name is Kurniadi again could not hold back his sadness when given the opportunity to sprinkle flowers on his friend's grave. While crying, Eman caressed the frame of his friend's photo while praying for him.

"He never showed that he was in pain, even during performances he never complained about his illness. He always said that he was healthy," Eman revealed after the funeral at TPU Carang Pulang, Tangerang Regency, Thursday (1/9/2024).

Nurul Qomar was reported to have passed away due to stage 4 colon cancer that had spread to the liver. According to Eman, Qomar's health condition deteriorated after undergoing eight rounds of chemotherapy and experiencing complications from stomach acid.

"What is clear is that he had colon cancer that had spread to the liver, and he had already undergone the 8th chemotherapy. It turned out he had stomach acid issues, so anything he ingested, whether food or water, he couldn't take it anymore. Even with all kinds of medication given, it didn't help," Eman explained.

Eman also recounted the last moments he spent with Qomar. He visited Qomar in the hospital on Tuesday, before his friend was moved to the ICU. Although he remained cheerful in front of his friends, Qomar had already shown signs of a weakening body.

"Derry and Ginanjar came to visit, still joking around. Then yesterday, Tuesday, I came, and as soon as I got home, I received news that Qomar was admitted to the ICU," Eman recounted with teary eyes.

Eman admitted he had a premonition when Qomar was admitted to the ICU. On Wednesday night, he returned to the hospital to see his friend one last time.

"Then at 2 o'clock I went to the hospital, and that was the last time I saw 'tuuutt' until the end," Eman said while sobbing.

As a friend and colleague who had been together for decades, losing Qomar was a heavy blow for Eman. He hopes prayers from everyone can accompany Qomar's departure.

"I pray that he is placed in Allah's paradise, and we recite Surah Al-Fatihah for him," said Eman with deep emotion.

The departure of Qomar not only leaves sorrow for Eman and the other members of the 4 Sekawan, but also for the fans. Qomar's resilience and spirit of life until his last breath have become an inspiration for many. May Nurul Qomar find the best place beside Him.
