Portrait of Maia Estianty Gives Touching Message Ahead of Al Ghazali's Wedding, Will Be Absent During the Reception

Maia Estianty wrote a sweet message for Al Ghazali ahead of her eldest son's wedding. Al Ghazali will marry Alyssa Daguise on June 16.

One day before the wedding ceremony series for Al begins, Maia Estianty appeared unable to hold back her emotions. She wrote a long message for Al, who will soon be leaving his single life.

"YOU ARE IN MY HEART FOREVER..The moments will release you once again...Soon, it won't be me holding your hand at the altar.. but your love, your new future..But my heart will still tightly hold all the memories: your first cry, your little steps learning to walk, your innocent laughter that used to fill my happiness...," wrote Maia.

"My child… now you will sail with a new ship, building your own home. I do not lose you, I will only let you go again and again, with unending prayers and love that never diminishes.True love is not about possession, but letting go sincerely. Everything I hold in this world, in the end, must return to its true owner, which is Allah SWT," she continued.

"Congratulations on embarking on your new life, dear @alghazali7…Your mother will never be far, just now standing one step behind you, watching you from afar and praying for you in the night’s prostrations.O Allah, I entrust this child in Your protection… amen…Bismillah may everything go smoothly until the big day…," concluded Maia.

In her post, Maia chose to feature the song "You Are in My Heart Forever." This song was created by Maia and performed by Krisdayanti back in 2011. Now Maia dedicates her song to her beloved child.

The wedding series of Al Ghazali will begin tomorrow, Saturday, (14/6) with the siraman ceremony. After that, the akad will be held on June 16 and the reception on June 19. However, Maia will be absent from Al's reception event in Jakarta later.

Maia admitted that she is abroad during Al Ghazali's reception event, as she has to attend an important event. However, Maia will accompany Al during the akad nikah moment later.
