Zul stated that amidst the difficult situation he is facing, he feels very fortunate because Retno continues to stand by him and provides full support, even though many of his cellmates are experiencing divorce during their imprisonment.

"Two people are divorced, one is in the same cell as me. I am grateful to have a wife like her," he said in the Selebrita Heits Trans 7 broadcast, Thursday (24/4/2025).

Retno Paradinah, who has been married to Zul since 2010, remains faithfully waiting for her husband to be released, always trying to be present at every opportunity.

"Yes, I have to keep accompanying him, because the only ones he has are me and the kids. Even though he is already used to it inside, we still have to support him, so as much as possible I accompany Kak Zul and continue to support him," said Retno Paradinah.

Retno also often brings Zul's favorite food, such as Padang rice with tuna, which her husband loves because it is rarely available in prison.

Retno also expressed her gratitude to Zul who continues to strive to be responsible for the family, even from behind bars. Zul is still trying to provide for them from the proceeds of his songs and performance permits in prison.
