Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino Face Five Years in Prison for Alleged Assault

Kapanlagi.com - Entrepreneur Putra Siregar was arrested by the police for alleged assault and battery against a man named Nuralamsyah at a cafe in the Senopati area of South Jakarta on March 2, 2022. Not alone, this entrepreneur who is friends with many artists was arrested with his friend, Rico Valentino.

South Jakarta Metro Police Chief, Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto revealed the chronology of the assault committed by Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino. Apparently, the problem started with Rico's female friend approaching Nuralamsyah's table in the cafe.

"This incident was triggered by a female friend who was in the RV and PS groups approaching MMA's table, I don't know what she did, but RV was unhappy and went to MMA and hit him, then suspect PS also pushed and kicked MMA," said Kombes Pol Budhi Herdi Susianto at the South Jakarta Police Station on Wednesday (4/13/2022).

Apparently, the assault and battery committed by Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino were recorded by the cafe's CCTV. After the incident, Nuralamsyah did not immediately report Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino to the authorities.

Nuralamsyah is waiting for good intentions from Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino.

"The incident was caught on CCTV in the cafe after that MMA did not report to the police only the autopsy, why didn't they report it? They want a peaceful solution, we tried to contact them for two weeks but there was no response, on March 16 it was reported to the police, we are investigating," he said.

2. Threatened with Five Years in Prison

As a result of this incident, Putra Siregar and Rico Valentino were charged with article 170 of the Criminal Code and face a five-year prison sentence.

"For this act, both of them are charged with article 170 of the Criminal Code with a five-year prison sentence," said Kombes Pol Budhi.
