"Because they (Marvel Studio) have strict rules about it. At that time, I went to America, wanted to know for sure if I was going to be in it or not. So I didn't want to tell my friends yet because it wasn't certain," Ray recalled when invited as a guest star on the program Rumpi.

"So when I was in America, I told Tio Pakusadewo, 'Tio, I'm in it, I'm already in America, already in Marvel, tried on the costumes and everything.' He was happy because we're friends. Then he told another friend, Dennis. And Dennis spread it all over Indonesia, even to America," Ray continued.

"Then I was called by someone from the legal department in America. I was told that I shouldn't do that, not anymore, this is the main responsibility. But it circulated again. Well, whatever," added the actor of the film THE RAID.

Although he was scolded by Marvel, Ray admitted that he is not angry at Dhenis or Tio. He understands that their intentions were good because they were just excited.

"No, I'm not angry. Because I said, I'm honest, we are happy to play in Marvel but only when shooting. If we haven't started shooting, we can't do it. Because I have been given the green light, I inform my friends. And because my friends are happy, I inform the public," he concluded.
