Relieve Viewer Longing, Legendary Soap Opera 'Tersanjung' Returns to the Screen

Kapanlagi.com - The phenomenal and legendary soap opera, Tersanjung, will return to television. The soap opera, starring Ari Wibowo and Lulu Tobing, will be aired on ANTV starting Monday, August 3, 2020, at 14:30 WIB. Tersanjung soap opera was very popular from 1998 to 2005.

Due to its interesting storyline, Tersanjung managed to last for seven years. The presence of Tersanjung on ANTV allows the wider community to reminisce about the soap opera.

"As we know, Tersanjung was once a very popular soap opera that lasted for 7 seasons from 1998 to 2005," said Gunawan, Senior Manager Acquisition & Distribution ANTV, on Saturday (1/8/2020).

2. Starring Top Artists

In addition to its very interesting storyline, the soap opera Tersanjung is also starred by famous actors and actresses from the country. They are Ari Wibowo, Lulu Tobing, Reynold Surbakti, Anwar Fuady, Jeremy Thomas, Adam Jordan, Jihan Fahira, Ayu Azhari, Thomas Jorghi, Baim Wong, Febby Febiola, Venna Melinda, Tommy Kurniawan, and many more.

Clearly, these names have now become successful artists in Indonesia. "We hope the return of Tersanjung can heal the longing and remind the audience of their youth memories," said Gunawan.

3. Latest Indian Series

In addition to the soap opera Tersanjung, ANTV also presents the latest Indian series titled Chandrakanta. The series produced by Ekhta Kapoor will air on ANTV starting Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at 10:30 AM.

This series tells the story of Princess Chandrakanta (Madhurima Tuli) from the Vijaygarh kingdom, the daughter of King Jay Singh and Queen Ratnaprabha (Shilpa Sakhlani) who is a powerful white witch and possesses the most powerful dagger from Lord Vishnu.

4. The Story of Chandrakanta

Ratnaprabha keeps the dagger in the temple of Lord Vishnu to protect it and give it to Chandrakanta after she turns 21. When she was still a baby, Chandrakanta was thrown into the sea by her mother to save her from Iravati (Urvashi Dholakia), an evil witch who wants the dagger. Chandrakanta was found and raised by a poor fisherman couple who found her on the beach in the Suryagarh kingdom area.

"Likewise with all the Indian drama series produced by Ekhta Kapoor that air on ANTV, they are able to make the viewers fall in love," Gunawan concluded.
