Kapanlagi.com - In the midst of her divorce proceedings, Kimberly Ryder reported her husband, Edward Akbar, to the South Jakarta Metro Police regarding allegations of car embezzlement. The report adds complications to the divorce they are facing.
When asked about the report, Kimberly stated that the process is still ongoing. At the same time, Kimberly's lawyer, Machi Ahmad, explained that the car allegedly embezzled is registered in Kimberly's name, both in the vehicle registration certificate (STNK) and the vehicle ownership document (BPKB).
"Not yet, still in process," Kimberly Ryder said when met at the Central Jakarta Religious Court on Wednesday (24/7).
"The car is in Kim's name, both in the STNK and BPKB. Now the car is missing, you can see for yourself. Everywhere Kim goes, she uses online taxis," Machi Ahmad continued.
In addition, regarding the initial permission for car use, unfortunately Kimberly said that they cannot provide further comments at this time.
"It is still in process, so we cannot comment either," said Kimberly.
Machi Ahmad also added that the report has been submitted and now they are just waiting for further developments. Additionally, regarding the summons of Edward Akbar as the reported party, Machi Ahmad stated that it is still awaiting the agenda from the police.
However, Machi could not confirm when the summons would take place.
"Yes, it has been reported, just waiting. Waiting for developments, the witnesses from the complainant have been questioned," revealed Machi Ahmad.
"Perhaps the next agenda will be the summons of the reported party. Not sure, because that is the police's authority," concluded Machi Ahmad.
With this report, the divorce process between Kimberly Ryder and Edward Akbar has become increasingly complicated. Both parties now have to face legal issues in addition to the ongoing divorce process.
