When met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Wednesday (8/11), Richard Lee admitted that he was even reprimanded by Hotman Paris. He tried to explain slowly how this issue occurred.

"I was even called by Bang Hotman, he panicked. On the phone, he said, 'Hey, what trouble did you make? Crazy, it's even blasphemy'. Well, if it's blasphemy, everyone would be afraid, right?" Richard Lee said when contacted by Hotman Paris.
"After that, I sent him the video. He just said, 'Whatever'. It's like he thinks it's trivial," he continued.

However, Richard Lee stated that many parties have asked him not to respond to the report. That's why he chose not to comment.
"Even the clerics called me. They said, don't respond and don't say a word. That's why I'm not commenting," he said.

In addition, Richard Lee also emphasized that until today he has not received a summons from the investigators of the Jakarta Metro Police related to allegations of blasphemy. According to him, this report happened because there are parties who want to seek benefits or popularity through him.
"Until today, there hasn't been any update. I also haven't received any summons. Actually, if they want to report, just report it. No need to involve the media law. That's the real popularity seeker," he concluded.
