Reported to the Police with Accusations of Fraud, Eza Gionino Embarrassed by His In-Laws

Kapanlagi.com - Actor Eza Gionino is involved in a legal problem. He was reported to the police by a man named Qory Supiandi on charges of fraud and embezzlement. In response to the report, Eza admitted to feeling ashamed in front of his father-in-law.

"I apologize for being accused of fraud and embezzlement, I feel ashamed in front of my father-in-law. It's only 12 million for fraud and embezzlement. If I had made a report saying that Eza embezzled 12 million, it would have been cool, but this is only 12 million," said Eza in Jakarta, on Tuesday (14/1).

It should be noted that Qory Supiandi is a seller of arowana fish who had a dispute with Eza, which led to Eza reporting Qory due to death threats. Now, Qory has reported Eza in return because Eza has not fully paid for the arowana fish he bought.

1. Fabricated Report

For Eza, Qory's report seems fabricated. According to Eza, there is no friend or relative of Qory who is demanding the remaining payment or asking for the fish in his house to be returned.

"What's funny is that no one is demanding anything from me, anyone. It's different if someone says, 'Za, please pay for the fish or Za, I want to take my fish back,' and I refuse to pay or return the fish, then you can report it to the police. But there's no wind or anything to report to the police," said Eza.

2. Confused Legal Counsel

In line with Eza, Henry Indraguna, as Eza's legal counsel, is also confused by Qory's report accusing his client of fraud and embezzlement.

"The chronology is like this, the promised fish (pointing to a fish picture) had a good snout, good eyes. So, based on the agreement with the available picture, Eza bought two fish for Rp12 million. Qory Supiandi asked for a transfer first and then paid the remaining amount after the fish arrived. Eza paid Rp 1.4 million, but the delivered goods did not match what was promised. The snout was ugly and the eyes were drooping," explained Henry.

"So where is the fraud and embezzlement? It's clear that this is a purchase and sale of goods, there is a document showing a payment of 1.4 million, and until today, my client has never said that he will not return the fish," he continued.

3. No Mediation

Still according to Henry. He regrets Qory's step to hire a lawyer named Lissa V to report Eza to the Metro Jaya Police with allegations of fraud and embezzlement on Monday (13/1). According to Henry, before reporting to the police, Lissa V should have first discussed the alleged fraud and embezzlement case against Eza in a good manner.

"Qory's lawyer Lissa should have communicated first before reporting. Just say if you want the fish to be paid or returned. Then we can find a common ground, for example, if you want to be paid, because the fish is not in accordance with the agreement, don't ask for Rp 12 million. Basically, we mediate until a deal is reached. It's done. The problem here is that there was no billing, no request, suddenly reporting to the police accusing Eza of fraud and embezzlement," he regretted.
