In response to the question of whether this role is a blessing or a misfortune for him, Deva answered casually yet meaningfully. For him, it is a blessing because he can work again with great talents in the film industry.

"It is certainly a blessing because I am back with extraordinary talents, I have the trust from Mr. Manoj again, and I can finally be on the same boat as Mas Hanung," explained Deva at a press conference held at MD Place, Kuningan, South Jakarta, on Monday (14/7/2025).

However, he also joked that this role could become a disaster if the audience does not support his film. He invited the audience to watch his film so they could "judge" the character he portrays together.

"It becomes a disaster when Reza, who is Deva, is already labeled as the ambassador of infidelity, but you guys don’t watch the film. That’s it. So let’s both criticize Reza, okay?" he joked, which was met with laughter from the audience.

Deva even joked that his wife, Mikha Tambayong, who was also present at the event, is already "immune" and can laugh at his role.

"Look, my wife is laughing. She’s laughing. We’re fine, guys. It’s safe," he quipped while pointing at his wife.

Manoj Punjabi, as the producer, expressed his high enthusiasm for this project. He even mentioned that LA TAHZAN has potential that is no less than its predecessor, promising a spectacle that will once again drain the audience's emotions.

"Today is not just a music video, guys, we also have a trailer launching. Final trailer," said Manoj Punjabi opening the event.

Furthermore, Manoj explained that this project has been long awaited. The story of LA TAHZAN, which also originated from the TikTok platform, was a strong candidate to be produced first before finally IPAR ADALAH MAUT made its way to the cinema.
