Richa Iskak Tells of a Dream Visited by Gary Iskak, Still Missing Him Deeply

1. Often Deep Talk Every Night with the Kids

"Of course. Every day, every night... especially every night before we go to sleep, there must be a conversation. You know, Dad likes to do this... if Dad likes to do this, you know... If, for example, Mom is doing something and suddenly Dad gets angry, things like that," Richa expressed.

"There can be deep talks like that with the kids. We still sleep together. That's it, suddenly missing them," said Richa Iskak when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Monday (5/1/2025).

2. Coming to Dreams and Smelling His Aroma at Home

Not just a memory, Richa also confessed to having a spiritual experience shortly after her husband passed away. She had been able to smell her late husband's distinctive aroma in the house for several days. In fact, she claimed to have been visited by her husband in a dream that felt very real.

"In a dream... I once dreamed he came, then he teased me, and he really missed me, then I held his hand. 'Come here, come here,' I hugged him, then cried. That's it. He came home. Especially with the kids, with the older one especially, very often. His message was always: 'You take care of Mom, okay, take care of Mom,'" she recounted.

3. Still Keeping the Late One's Belongings

In addition to dreams, Richa also keeps the belongings of the deceased that hold high historical value for them. One of her favorite items that she keeps and often uses is a jersey shirt from her husband’s collection.

"Of course. There’s the favorite shirt of the late one. So my lucky number is 9, right... while the late one liked the number 7. So he had a jersey shirt with the number 9, I keep it, I wear it too," explained Richa Iskak.

Although most of the late one's belongings have been donated so as not to burden the deceased there, Richa still keeps iconic items as reminders of their love. The jersey has become one of the most valuable items for her now.

"A jersey, not a basketball one. But a thick jersey, not a thin one. But it’s okay, it’s cool," she concluded.
