Rocker Kasarunk drummer Christian Wibisono has passed away after fighting lung cancer

The news of the drummer's passing was first announced by music observer Stanley Tulung through a post on his social media. He expressed deep condolences for his friend.

Not long after, this sad news was confirmed directly by the vocalist, Ferdy Tahier. Through a text message, the frontman of the band Rocker Kasarunk confirmed that his friend and bandmate had passed away.

When contacted further, Ferdy revealed that his friend had been fighting a serious illness before finally succumbing.

"Lung cancer," Ferdy Tahier replied briefly when asked about the illness suffered by the deceased.

Through his personal Instagram account, Ferdy Tahier also posted a touching farewell message. He shared a photo from their last session together, reminiscing about his friend's struggle against his illness.

"Goodbye my friend... now you're no longer in pain... this is our last photo session memory... I know you fought hard... my amazing friend... have fun up there, brother... we will meet again, brother... goodbye @chrystian_johanes," wrote Ferdy.

3. Christian Wibisono Passed Away

Christian Wibisono, or affectionately known as Ian, was one of the early members of Rocker Kasarunk, a band that gained popularity in the early 2000s. After being inactive for a while, the band was revived by Ferdy Tahier in recent years.

According to Ferdy's post, the late Christian passed away at 18:41 WIB at Fatmawati Hospital, Jakarta. His departure certainly leaves a deep sorrow for family, friends, and fans of Indonesian rock music.
