Ruben Onsu Promises to Be More Cautious in Business After Billion Investment Case

The experience of being a suspect in the alleged investment fraud case made Ruben Onsu evaluate his steps in the business world. After reconciling with the reporting party, he stated that he will improve his perspective in taking business decisions and choosing business partners.

"Yes, I already mentioned that earlier. If the assets that I, uh, sold could be realized quickly, it shouldn't be like this, right?" said Ruben Onsu when met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Monday (31/8/2026).

Ruben mentioned that this experience serves as an important note so that every process in his business is more measurable. He expressed his commitment to proceed cautiously, especially when it comes to investments and asset management.

Ruben realizes that there are many external factors that are difficult to predict when running a business, including the speed of selling assets that does not always go according to plan. This situation has made him reorganize his priorities and accept input as part of self-improvement.

"These inputs make me more mature, allowing us to better accept everything or resolve things wisely," said Ruben Onsu.

When asked about the next steps, Ruben provided a firm and concise answer. He stated he would be more selective and cautious in establishing investment partnerships with anyone.

"(Being careful in business) Definitely. For sure," said Ruben Onsu.

2. Support from Friends Helps Restore Focus

Ruben feels supported by his friend, Jhon LBF, whom he says provides guidance to improve himself amidst the problem-solving process. He does not want to waste the second chance he has to reorganize his personal life and work.

"And resolving everything is not to fight, you know. But it means I have to finish this and after that, I have to try to improve myself," said Ruben.

After the legal burdens that ensnared him have ended, Ruben stated he is ready to return to activities in the entertainment world. He aims to focus on productivity and responsibility towards his family.

"Yes, I want everything to end well," concluded Ruben Onsu.
