Ruben Onsu Returns IDR 3.5 Billion, Fraud Case Ends Peacefully

The case of alleged fraud and embezzlement of investments worth IDR 3.5 billion involving presenter Ruben Onsu has now found a resolution. The former husband of Sarwendah agreed to take a peaceful route with the reporting party, accompanied by lawyer Achmad Ramzy.

The meeting between both parties took place in a familial atmosphere to end the legal dispute that had arisen. "Yes, thank God we have made peace. We have had a familial discussion between lawyers. We have sat down well. I received input from brother Jhon," said Ruben Onsu when met in Kebayoran Baru, South Jakarta, on Monday (31/8/2026).

Ruben Onsu expressed his gratitude that this matter could be resolved peacefully without having to go to court. He admitted to receiving a lot of guidance from his friend, Jhon LBF, in facing this difficult situation calmly.

"But previously I also received a lot of input from Bang Jon, thank you very much," said Ruben.

According to Ruben, the advice he received helped him to act more maturely in dealing with the issue. "These inputs make me more mature, make, uh, yeah we can be more, uh, able to accept everything or resolve something wisely," continued Ruben Onsu.

2. Settlement Through Full Refund of Principal Investment

This reconciliation was achieved with an agreement to fully refund the principal investment to the reporting party. Ruben Onsu emphasized that resolving this way has indeed been his main priority from the beginning.

"Yes, this is indeed what I wanted. That's it. This is indeed what I wanted," Ruben Onsu stated briefly.

The concrete steps taken by Ruben Onsu's side received appreciation from the reporting party's legal counsel, Achmad Ramzy. He stated that reconciliation is the goal that has been hoped for since the police report was officially made.

"Yes, thank God today, with the cooperation from Jon LBF Law Firm, my colleague Maci Achmad as well, we could communicate well and thankfully today reconciliation occurred, the peace that we have indeed hoped for from the beginning," explained Achmad Ramzy.
