Ruben Onsu Becomes a Suspect, Official Summons Sent by Police

The legal case involving Ruben Onsu related to alleged fraud is developing. The police have confirmed that an official summons for questioning has been sent to Ruben Onsu, scheduled to take place on Friday, August 28, 2026.

AKP Joko Adiwibowo, Head of Public Relations of the South Jakarta Metro Police, confirmed this when met at the South Jakarta Police Station on Wednesday (26/8). He stated, "Regarding the summons for RSO, it has been sent. That is the summons for the schedule on Friday, August 28, 2026."

1. No Confirmation from Ruben's Side Yet

Although the summons letter was sent a few days earlier, the police have stated that they have not yet received confirmation regarding Ruben Onsu's attendance at the scheduled time. "As of now, there is no confirmation of his presence. Of course, we will wait until the time specified in the summons letter arrives," explained Joko.

The police stated that they will patiently wait until the scheduled examination time arrives. They will not rush to take other steps before the deadline has passed. However, if Ruben Onsu does not respond to the first summons, the investigator has prepared a follow-up step in the form of a second summons letter as part of law enforcement.

"We will just wait to see what the summons schedule is like. If he does not come, a second summons will certainly be sent," he explained.

The legal process continues as the police await confirmation of Ruben Onsu's presence for the upcoming examination.
