Ruben Onsu Says Betrand Peto is Very Angry Due to His Sibling Being Defamed

Ruben Onsu confirmed that his son is also feeling anger over this incident. Unlike before, Onyo is now more active on social media and can see firsthand what is happening.

"Yes, Onyo has, because in the past he didn't use social media, didn't do this. Now he can see for himself," said Ruben Onsu at the Metro Jaya Police Headquarters on Thursday (31/7/2025).

In addition to social media, Onyo often hears discussions about this issue from his surroundings. This automatically triggers a strong reaction from within him as a child.

"Then he meets anyone, and there is an environment that discusses it, right? And automatically he has, yes, his reflex is definitely to be angry," said Ruben.

3. Calming His Son's Anger

Seeing his son's anger, Ruben tried to calm him down, especially since Onyo was out of town for work. He asked Onyo to trust that as a father, he would resolve this issue well.

"Right? It's a reflex for him to be angry and yes, I try to calm him down when he is working. He is out of town, he is working, so I calm him down, yes, Onyo just trust that Dad will handle it one by one," said Ruben.

4. Doesn't Want to Involve the Children

Support to take this case to legal channels also came from Onyo. However, Ruben emphasized that he was acting in his capacity as a parent and did not want to involve his children any further.

"Yes, of course. But when I'm here, eh I'm acting on behalf of his father," he said.

"If there's no activity, he definitely wants to accompany. But for me, it's like this, 'Enough, enough, this is just a matter for the parents'. Onyo focuses on his work. Yes, if anything happens, I will definitely tell him," said Ruben.

Ruben understands that the youthful spirit of Onyo, which is still turbulent, can lead him to take different actions. Therefore, he feels that his decision to handle this issue as a parent is the wisest.

"But his youthful spirit is still burning, right," said Ruben. "So, when we make a wise decision, it doesn’t necessarily mean we will agree."

7. Empathy Towards Siblings

The annoyance shown by Onyo is already sufficient proof of his empathy towards his siblings. Ruben knows exactly how his son feels because Onyo loves his family very much.

"So, I think just his empathy alone has already made him annoyed. Yes, very annoyed because he knows how his younger sibling is," he concluded.
