Kapanlagi.com - The child custody lawsuit filed by Ruben Onsu against Sarwendah has entered the legal process at the South Jakarta District Court. One of the reasons for the lawsuit is Ruben's difficulty in meeting his children.
This was conveyed by the Public Relations of the South Jakarta District Court, Halida Rahardhini, while explaining the contents of the lawsuit submitted by Ruben's party.
"If that's one of them, yes, it's difficult to meet, yes," said Halida Rahardhini at the South Jakarta District Court, Thursday (2/7/2026).

Nevertheless, Halida emphasized that there is no evidence regarding the allegations of child exploitation in the lawsuit documents received by the court. This case is purely related to child custody.
"So far, there is none. Child exploitation so far does not exist," she asserted.

In the upcoming trial, each party will be given the opportunity to prove who is deemed most eligible to obtain child custody. The judge will consider all evidence presented by both the plaintiff and the defendant.
"The transfer of child custody is certainly due to one party taking an action or conduct that they believe is contrary to the interests of child custody. So each party must prove their case," he said.
"The plaintiff will prove why child custody should not be with the defendant, while the defendant will also prove their counter-argument that child custody should rightly remain with them," he added.

Halida added that the child custody case is not open to the public in order to protect the best interests of the child.
"Because the status of the case is unpublish. The best interests of the child are taken into consideration, so this case is not published. Essentially, each party feels they are the best father or mother to care for the child," concluded Halida.
