It is known that Rony Dozer had been diagnosed with cellulitis, which caused him to be absent from the Indonesian television screen for several years. Due to the illness, Rony's leg became swollen. Because of this illness, Rony Dozer lost many jobs.

In early 2020, Rony Dozer's condition was reported to have declined. The Extravaganza actor experienced a rather mysterious condition, where there was swelling in his right foot that had been present for several years.
He had already undergone treatment and had to go back and forth to the hospital. The lab results showed that his blood sugar and uric acid levels were still normal, only his cholesterol was high. However, the swelling still did not subside. Until one day, Rony was shocked to find out that his illness was actually the result of black magic sent by someone.
"When my wife's family and I were on vacation in Semarang, there is a prayer group called pendoa for Catholics, mostly consisting of mothers. We went there. I was quite surprised when she said, 'Someone has a grudge against Mas Rony,' and I got goosebumps. She said that the person who has a grudge against me used a doll as a medium. It was buried in one of the graves or in deep soil. Basically, it attacked my foot, causing disturbances in my activities and well-being," said Rony Dozer as quoted from cumicumi.com.
Rony is an artist born in Bali on August 20, 1975. His name became widely known through Extravaganza Trans TV. Throughout his career in the entertainment industry, this 46-year-old man has starred in dozens of feature films, such as Kiamat Sudah Dekat, 3 Playboy Galau, and The Wedding & Bebek Betutu.
Not only feature films, Rony Dozer has also appeared in several television soap operas. Starting from Saras 008, Wah Cantiknya, Bayi Gede, Abu Nawas and Paman Jin, Tuyul & Mba Yul Reborn, and many more.
