Kapanlagi.com - Sad news comes from the legendary artist Titiek Puspa. The singer, affectionately known as Eyang Titiek, took her last breath today, Thursday, (10/4) at the hospital.
The news was confirmed by Mia, Titiek Puspa's manager, who stated that the legend passed away this afternoon. "Yes, Eyang just passed away. Around 16:25 WIB. The body is still at RS Medistra," she told reporters on Thursday (10/4).
Ahmad Dhani, upon hearing the news of Titiek Puspa's death, proposed that the artist be recognized as a hero of Indonesia, particularly in the field of composing or creating songs.
"Titiek Puspa has passed away, I just got the info from DennyChasmala. We observe a moment of silence to honor the composer hero. We propose to the government that Titiek Puspa be made a hero of Indonesian composers," Dhani said on Thursday, (10/4).
Titiek Puspa breathed her last at the age of 87 after battling a brain hemorrhage. The renowned singer, actress, musician, and artist, born on November 1, 1937, was rushed to the hospital at the end of March.
Starting with complaints of a headache and fainting, Titiek then underwent treatment at Medistra Hospital in Jakarta. After undergoing surgery and being cared for in a special room, Titiek breathed her last today.
Farewell, Eyang Titiek, your works will always be remembered.
