Sarwendah did this not without reason. Apparently, the actress who once studied in Beijing wants to protect Thalia's mental health.
"So that Cici Thalia knows that we are taking care of her mental health. And if she asks later, we already have the answer," explained Sarwendah to the media crew at Studio Rumpi, TransTV, South Jakarta, Thursday (21/9/2025).
Thalia herself has not questioned this matter up to now. Even though Sarwendah always encourages her children to speak openly.
"Whenever we want to sleep, we always have deep talks. I tell the kids, 'if you have something to ask, just say it'. Now Cici can also chat and send voice notes to me, so it's easier," she added.
In Sarwendah's YouTube channel, the obstetrician recounted the chronology of Sarwendah and Ruben undergoing the IVF program until Thalia was born.
"So, Sarwendah and Ruben Onsu have been my patients since 2014. They came for IVF treatment and after that, they produced only one good embryo. Eventually, it was implanted and they got pregnant; their first child was indeed an IVF baby at the Morula IVF clinic in Jakarta with me as their doctor," he revealed.
Sarwendah initially chose to remain silent and did not respond to the accusations directed at Thalia. She and Ruben eventually took action for their daughter.
"It's a lie (the slander), my people didn't go anywhere (during the marriage, they were always at home). I want to explain to Thalia when she asks and knows about this news. If her parents stand up for her, her family is there for her," she concluded.
