Shah Rukh Khan just celebrated his 60th birthday on Sunday, (2/11) yesterday.
Hundreds of thousands of fans had gathered in front of Mannat since the day before SRK's birthday celebration. However, unfortunately, this year SRK decided not to greet fans at Mannat.
Although he did not greet fans in front of his house, SRK still celebrated his birthday with fans who had gathered in a building.
Celebrating his birthday together with fans in this building has also become a tradition for SRK every year. This time, he cut a cake that said King.
Shah Rukh Khan chose not to greet fans at Mannat due to advice from the Mumbai police. This year, the number of people who came in front of his house was massive.
SRK also conveyed his apologies to the fans gathered at Mannat through his post on X. He explained the reason why he could not greet them as usual.
"I have been informed by the authorities that I will not be able to come out and greet all of you who have been waiting for me.I sincerely apologize to all of you, but I have been told that this is for everyone's safety due to crowd control reasons.Thank you for your understanding, and believe me… I will miss seeing you all more than you will miss me. I am truly looking forward to meeting all of you and sharing the love. Love to you all…," said SRK.
Nevertheless, SRK still makes an effort to greet fans outside of Mannat. Exiting the venue where he celebrated his birthday, SRK warmly greeted the fans gathered outside. Happy birthday, King!
