Sibling Reveals Reasons for Family to Scatter Some of Laura Anna's Ashes in the Ocean

Kapanlagi.com - Beautiful influencer Edelenyi Laura Anna was known to have passed away on Wednesday (15/12) at Eka Hospital Cibubur. The deceased's body was laid at Grand Heaven, Pluit, North Jakarta, and then cremated.

Laura's ashes were taken to Pier 15, Ancol, North Jakarta on Friday (17/12) to be scattered in the ocean. Although the entire scattering process went smoothly, Greta Irene, Laura Anna's sister, admitted that she couldn't hold back her emotions when scattering her beloved sister's ashes.

"Today we went through the process of scattering Laura's cremation ashes in Ancol's ocean. Our family and friends all came to say goodbye to Laura for the last time," said Greta Irene after the scattering process.

"At first, we laughed and talked about our memories of Laura, and then I cried when I saw it from the beginning. It was still heavy for me, I couldn't handle it, but I gathered strength in the end. First, we all prayed together," she continued.

1. Reasons for Scattering on the Beach

Greta Irene also said that the scattering was indeed the wish of the late Laura Anna. She said that before her sister passed away, Laura had a desire to travel and the beach was her favorite place.

"Yes. It's the closest, and she used to play here a lot, so it's already her place. We really loved going to the beach when we were little, it's probably our happiest childhood memory, so this is her last memory," she said.

2. The Rest is Kept

In addition, the rest of Laura's ashes are still kept at home. The plan is to move the ashes to a more suitable place.

"The rest is at home, but we don't know when it will be moved, to a proper place," she added.

The family, friends, and acquaintances of the deceased arrived at around 10:00 AM at Pier 15, Ancol, North Jakarta. Laura's parents were seen ready to scatter the ashes of their beloved child.

Several celebrity friends were also present at the moment. Figures like Fadil Zaidi and Keanu Agl were seen joining to witness the scattering procession.

4. Scattering Process

The ashes of the cremation urn have been prepared in a sack, scattered flowers can also be seen prepared for the scattering process. After waiting for almost an hour, the family finally boarded the boat provided for the scattering process, then headed to the middle of the sea to scatter Laura's ashes.

Upon reaching the middle of the sea, the family and several mourners were seen performing a pre-scattering procession, starting with Laura's father and mother scattering their daughter's cremation ashes. The procession was then carried out alternately by other mourners.

5. Rest In Love

It is known that Laura Anna passed away on December 15 at 10:13 AM WIB at Eka Hospital Cibubur, Laura took her last breath at the age of 21. The body was temporarily laid to rest at Grand Heaven, Pluit, North Jakarta, on Thursday (16/12), and then cremated.
