Special Painting by Iwan Fals Sold for 500 Million, All Auction Proceeds Will Be Distributed in the 'SCTV Untuk Negeri' Program

One of the top musicians in the country, Iwan Fals, voluntarily donated an abstract painting created directly by the Living Legend himself in just one day. The open auction was officially announced through the news program Liputan 6 on Saturday, August 14, 2021, and ended on August 16, 2021.

A few days earlier, Liputan 6 presenter - Djati Darma also had the opportunity to visit Iwan Fals' residence and talk about the process of making the painting. "This is a recording of my feelings, starting from sadness to joy that I poured out. I believe in Allah who will give guidance and I believe that every color has a story. I can't do much to help with the COVID-19 response, so through this recording of my feelings, I try to help," he said.

2. Disalurkan Kepada Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih

All proceeds from the sale of paintings owned by Iwan Fals and several artists involved in the 31 Artis Xtraordinary Auction will be directly channeled to the Yayasan Pundi Amal Peduli Kasih (YPP) to help communities affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Some other artists and musicians involved in the 31 Artis Xtraordinary Auction include Dude Harlino, Alyssa Soebandono, Yuki Kato, Nassar, Judika, Rossa, Andre Taulany, and Raffi Ahmad.
