Suspect in the Case of Distributing Rebecca Klopper's Explicit Video Does Not Accept the Prosecutor's Demand, Lawyer Will Prove His Client is Not the Intellectual Actor

Kapanlagi.com - Bayu Firlen, the suspect in the case of distributing Rebecca Klopper's pornographic video, is once again going through a trial at the South Jakarta District Court. The closed session agenda is the demand from the public prosecutor (JPU).

Unfortunately, Rika Sandria Putri, who is Bayu's legal counsel, refused to disclose the number of years demanded by the prosecutor. That was what Bayu stated after the trial ended.

"Regarding the demand issue, BF informed me that he objected to it being disclosed. He prefers to deliver it himself," said Rika after the trial on Tuesday (19/12/2023).

"So we must respect his privacy, this is not for public interest, it concerns him personally, so he refuses to disclose it," Rika added.

1. There is Another Suspect

Bayu himself is said to have rejected the charges read by the public prosecutor. Moreover, it is not his client who spread Rebecca's pornographic video.

"He doesn't accept it, it can be considered like that (heavy). Because his position is as I mentioned, BF is not an intellectual actor. So he is only someone who downloads something that has been uploaded on YT," said Rika.

In the next trial with the agenda of pleading or defense, Rika will prepare everything. Of course, so that the panel of judges can lighten the punishment that will be given to her client in the verdict later.

"Certainly as light as possible, we will definitely do it to prove that Bayu is not our intellectual actor, we ask for fairness, so that it is in accordance with what it should be," explained Rika.

2. Already Regretted the Action

Moreover, in the previous trial, Bayu had already regretted his actions. That's why he hopes the judge can give him a light punishment.

"Certainly yesterday he regretted it when the defendant BF stated that he deeply regretted it and has a sibling, has a family, and he is also the backbone of the family," he concluded.
