Third Time Arrested by Police for Drugs, Lawyer Ammar Zoni: He Cried

Kapanlagi.com - Ammar Zoni appointed Jon Mathias as his legal representative for the third time in the case of alleged drug abuse he is currently facing. When meeting with the father of two, Jon admitted that his client regretted falling into the same hole again.

"Of course (regretful), he cried. Because this has happened repeatedly," said Jon when met at the West Jakarta Metro Police, Thursday (14/12/2023) early morning.

1. Case in the Midst of Divorce

As a lawyer who has also handled Ammar's previous case, Jon also feels disappointed. Moreover, Ammar's divorce trial with Irish Bella in the Religious Court of Depok, West Java is still ongoing.

"So I can't say anything, as his legal representative, I am also disappointed. Because I tried to have a trial in the religious court, but instead, a new disaster came," he said.

2. Still Undergoing Examination

Jon is grateful that when they met in person, Ammar was in good condition. And currently, Ammar is still undergoing examination with the investigator.

"Alhamdulillah, he is healthy," said Jon.

"(Ammar) is still under examination," Jon added.

3. Divorce Trial Still Ongoing

However, Jon emphasizes that the divorce trial is still ongoing, even though Ammar is currently undergoing detention. They leave all decisions to the panel of judges in the Religious Court of Depok.

"It's still ongoing, but the decision is up to the judge," he concluded.

4. Arrested for the Third Time

It is known that the police arrested Ammar Zoni on suspicion of abusing drugs such as crystal meth and marijuana. Ammar was arrested while in the lobby of his apartment in the Serpong area, Tangerang on Wednesday, December 12, 2023, at around 23:00 WIB.
