Testifying in Court, Nicholas Sean Denies Any Relationship - Says Ayu Thalia Fell on Her Own

Kapanlagi.com - The defamation case reported by Nicholas Sean Purnama against Ayu Thalia was again heard on Tuesday afternoon (14/6/2022). Located at the North Jakarta District Court, this agenda was to hear Sean's testimony as the plaintiff.

In front of the judges, Sean admitted that he had only known Ayu Thalia for less than three weeks. They met when Sean had a business meeting with well-known entrepreneur Rudi Salim.

"I only met the defendant on August 11, 2021. I knew the defendant's boss for business purposes, and then I only knew (the defendant) there," said Sean.

1. No Romantic Relationship

Nicholas Sean denied having a romantic relationship with Ayu Thalia. He stressed that between him and the social media influencer, they only knew each other.

"We first met on August 11 and reported on August 27, so we only knew each other for 16 days. So it's just an acquaintance, not my girlfriend, there is no relationship," said the eldest son of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok.

2. Refused to Leave the Car

In his testimony, Nicholas Sean confirmed that there was a conversation with Ayu Thalia in the car. The bespectacled young man asked Ayu not to bother him anymore.

"I came to Prestige (the location of the incident) and asked the defendant not to bother me anymore. I asked her to delete some files from her phone. I said 'I don't want any relationship anymore, get out of my car'. The defendant refused, then she cried," explained Sean.

3. Falling Down

Because Ayu Thalia refused to get out of her car, Nicholas Sean took the initiative to get out of the car first in the hope that Ayu would follow. However, he later saw Ayu deliberately falling down as if pulled.

"Finally, I got out, went to the front of the car, opened the door, took her paper bag, and put it in her car. Then I waited for her to come out until she came out by herself. She deliberately fell down slowly," explained Sean.
