This year's Eid al-Adha celebration feels different for Zaskia Adya Mecca. For the first time, she celebrates Eid al-Adha without her husband, Hanung Bramantyo, and their son, Bhum.
Zaskia and her four children performed the Eid prayers in Jakarta on Wednesday (27/5/2026). Zaskia looked very excited to hold the Eid prayer with the community at the Salim Kamil mosque.
"This is the first Eid al-Adha not spent with @hanungbramantyo and little Bhum," wrote Zaskia Adya Mecca on Instagram on Wednesday (27/5).
"Finally, I understand the meaning of sacrifice better. I am in Jakarta taking care of the Eid prayer congregation while Hb in Jogja is directly cutting the family sacrifice. I hope we don't have to celebrate Eid far apart too often," she continued.

In the moment of Eid al-Adha in 2026, Zaskia Adya Mecca held the Eid prayer with the residents. "Alhamdulillah almost a thousand worshippers attended the Eid prayer today at @kemasjidulu, if yesterday during Eid al-Fitr there were 700 people, now it has increased again," she wrote.
"This has become the best place for gathering in my opinion, we can meet all the neighbors, collaborate with the residents, and show our unity as a community. Huhu there were so many touching moments seeing everyone earlier," she continued.
