Everyone has their own unique way of expressing prayers and hopes. So does the late Mpok Alpa. Behind her simple appearance, she harbored big dreams that she expressed in a special way.
Her husband, Adji Darmaji, reminisces about one of his wife's unique habits while they were traveling. Mpok Alpa often prayed in the car, especially while passing through the highway, while imagining her dream of owning a luxury car.

"Wanting to have a luxurious car like that, he recited prayers on the toll road, just praying first," reminisced Adji Darmaji, Saturday (16/8/2025).
For Mpok Alpa, every fantasy and dream is a form of prayer. This principle she learned from her husband, who always taught her not to be afraid to dream.
"Daydreaming will become a prayer, I teach that when we daydream, that dream will become a prayer, like that," Adji explained.
Mpok Alpa believes that perhaps when she is daydreaming about goodness, there are angels passing by and recording her good intentions. This belief is what keeps her from ever stopping to hope and dream.
"Maybe there's an angel passing by that notes our good intentions. In the end, it's all about intention, just dreaming about it for now," he said.
Besides luxury cars, Mpok Alpa also dreams of owning a rental property as an investment for her children's future. This dream is often discussed together as a family financial goal. "Yes, if there's fortune, we want to have a rental property; if not, it's just a dream, and dreams become prayers," said Adji.
However, above all her worldly dreams, Mpok Alpa and her husband’s main priority remains the education of their children. They want to ensure their children can attain the highest education possible and have a bright future.
"Well, later insya Allah, the important thing is we focus on the children first so they can go to school, get a higher education, not like us. The children just enjoy it," she concluded.
