"I really have to call her back, 'Aqila, let's work again on 'Tears at the End of the Prayer Mat 2'. Come on, let's remember again.' I recalled again, I watched 'Tears', AMDUS 1, and remembered Arfan, the husband, then I remembered my mother, my father, and went back to, 'Later, I shouldn't cry'," Titi revealed.

According to Titi, in this sequel, Aqilla is portrayed as a woman who is all alone but tries to be strong. "Remembering Aqila who is all alone, but she is like what Leoni said, pretending to be happy living her life, while in reality, Aqila is a representation of a woman who keeps working to forget her turmoil. "It feels heavy for me, especially when looking at the stars alongside Baskara. It becomes a burden for me because for 'Tears', for always the sequel, the second film will always be homework for me. So every scene really has to be prepared in such a way. A few hours before the take, I have to read it carefully, making sure not to get the emotional escalation wrong, it has to be maintained," said Titi.
