"Honestly, it feels like a reunion. So there's a little fact here, actually, I've known Rio Dewanto for quite a while, right, Ncek? Just call me Ncek," she said with a laugh when met at the press conference for the official Poster & official trailer of the film KEADILILAN (THE VERDICT), at CGV Grand Indonesia, Thamrin, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (24/9/2025).

The 38-year-old actress reminisces about their high school days. The closeness that has developed since their teenage years makes the bonding process on set much easier and more fluid.

"Since high school. So actually there's no need for bonding anymore because when we meet it feels like, ah it's already, just flows like that," he explained.

Responding to their closeness, Rio Dewanto even joked to clarify the status of their relationship in the past. He emphasized that their relationship was purely friendship and they were never in a romantic relationship.

"No, no, we are pure friends, we were never in a relationship, you know," he continued, which was met with laughter.

This 'reunion' moment has proven to be successful. From the trailer that has been released, the interaction between Niken and Rio as a married couple looks very convincing and full of emotion.
