Trisno PAS Band's Habit: Mandatory to Visit the Mall or Minimarket Before Performing

Behind the fierce image on stage, the late Trisno had a habit that his friends always remembered. Sandy revealed that every time it was showtime, Trisno often looked for a shopping mall first as part of his routine.

"He was really a mall kid. Every time we were about to perform, no matter which city we were going to, he would just ask, 'Is there a mall?' If there wasn't a mall, he would ask, 'Is there a minimarket?','" Sandy said when met in Depok, Saturday (01/08/2026).

This simple habit was said to be Trisno's way of calming himself before going on stage. According to Sandy, the moments spent at the mall or minimarket always accompanied the band's tour travels to various cities.

For Trisno, stopping for a moment at a shopping mall or minimarket is not just a stroll. Sandy mentioned that this brief activity serves as a kind of mood booster that makes him feel more relaxed before performing.

"Because for him, it’s like breathing, it’s oxygen. He just needs to buy something and he’s already very happy. And there won’t be anyone asking about the mall, there won’t be anyone asking about the minimarket before a gig," said Sandy.

Sandy explained that this habit follows the tour schedule to various regions. Just buying something spontaneously, Trisno already looks satisfied and ready to continue with the next stage agenda.

2. More Comfortable with the Crew While on Tour

On the tour journey, Trisno is known for his distinctive way of interacting. He doesn’t always stay in the spotlight, but rather chooses a more familiar atmosphere with the crew.

"He’s actually more of a rock n roll type but semi-introverted, I guess. When he’s on tour, he gathers with the crew. With the crew, smoking," Sandy explained about Trisno’s personality.

This attitude, according to Sandy, is often seen during travel breaks or while waiting for stage preparations. Trisno prefers a quieter space, chatting casually, and mingling with the supporting team.

3. Discipline in Soundcheck and the Story of 'Fighting for Snacks'

Sandy also mentioned PAS Band's habit regarding technical preparations before performing. They are used to doing sound checks directly by the personnel, not fully handed over to the crew.

"We, PAS Band, always have the personnel play during soundcheck. We don't hand it over to the crew, so there are many stories about fighting for snacks," said Sandy.

This disciplined soundcheck ritual also becomes a moment of togetherness. According to Sandy, from this, light stories emerge behind the scenes, including about the simple snacks that are often fought over during breaks.

4. Schedule in Subang on August 8 and Encouraging Message

Before passing away, Trisno was still listed in the performance agenda with PAS Band. Sandy revealed there was a plan to perform in Subang on August 8, which he had mentioned to boost Trisno's spirit for a quick recovery.

"On the 8th, we will perform in Subang. At half-past eight, we will group... Come on Bro, stay strong, stay strong. Come on Bro, stay strong, stay strong, let's perform, let's practice," concluded Sandy.

According to Sandy, he conveyed that support when visiting Trisno in the hospital. His hope is simple: that his friend can quickly recover, return to practice, and meet the performance schedule that is already waiting.
