Via Vallen's Struggle to Give Birth to Her Second Child Through Cesarean Operation

Happy news comes from the couple of singer Via Vallen and Chevra Yolandi. They have just been blessed with a second child, a girl who was born at National Hospital, Surabaya, on Sunday (3/8/2026).

The arrival of this little princess certainly adds to the happiness of their small family. Previously, Via Vallen and her husband were blessed with a son named Muhammad Raidan Agham Radia Al Arifin, who was born in July 2024.

The delivery process was carried out through a cesarean operation at 07:00 WIB. The beautiful baby was born weighing 3,050 grams and measuring 50 centimeters, in a healthy and fit condition.

The medical team handling the delivery revealed that the baby's condition was very good at birth. This was confirmed directly by Pediatric Specialist, Dr. Dian Pratamastuti.

"The baby was born in good condition, immediately crying very loudly. Her skin is good and her movements are active. In the physical examination, everything is normal, from the heart, lungs, to digestion, all is well," said Dian at a virtual press conference on Tuesday (10/3/2026).

Behind the smooth process, Via Vallen actually faced a great struggle for her child. She had tried to hold off contractions to wait for the maximum gestational age.

"Mother Via Vallen did her utmost to hold off (the delivery) until close to 40 weeks so that her daughter would be born in optimal condition. She endured pain and exhaustion because the contractions had been held back for days, but since she was already dilating, she had no choice but to give birth," explained Dr. Hendra Hendri.

Currently, Via Vallen's physical condition is quite drained. She is still undergoing intensive care in the hospital post-surgery to regain her stamina.

Although she is still in the recovery process, the singer of the song Sayang has already given her full attention to her daughter. She is now taking on the role of a tandem mother for her two children.

"This second baby is breastfeeding very actively. Mother Via Vallen is a tandem mother because she is still breastfeeding her first child, so her breast milk doesn't take long to come out; colostrum is immediately available for the best nutrition for her daughter," said Dian.aal
